Welcome to Western Washington's "Socially Different" Support Group. Our goal is to provide support and encouragement for people of all ages suffering from autism and its related disorders.
Neurological Disorders and mental illnesses such as autism, schizophrenia, obsessive compulsive disorder, nonverbal learning disorder, etc. can impact a person's social life in devastating ways. Some people lack the family support that would help them to grow and improve, while others may simply be clueless when it comes to making friends or sustaining relationships. When we all come together, we can find someone who understands what we are going through. Even if you are simply a parent who feels isolated because of your child's disability, you can find hope and support through "Socially Different." Anyone who feels out of place in this society, with or without a diagnosis, is welcome to join our group.
